Los Inmigrantes vuelven a Buenos Aires

Con la actuación en el reconocido escenario porteño de La Ideal, vuelve a presentarse en Buenos Aires el noneto Los Inmigrantes, que surgió en La Plata a principios de 2005, luego de un trabajo de investigación sobre el sonido de las diferentes orquestas a lo largo de la historia del tango.
La Yumba, La Tablada, La Cumparsita, Saludos, El Marne, Margarita Gauthier, Melancólico, Nostálgico y El Recodo son algunos de los temas que la orquesta ejecuta durante sus shows.
Junto a la figura emblemática del violinista Osvaldo Rodríguez, integran la formación los músicos Fernando Bugallo, violín; Pablo Muñoz, violín; Luis Santucci, viola; Víctor Goussinsky, cello; Luis Rizzi, bandoneón; Emanuel Trifilio, bandoneón; Omar Gómez, bajo y contrabajo, y Alejandro Rodríguez, en piano, arreglos y dirección musical.
A lo largo del repertorio del grupo se suceden temas con arreglos de distintas épocas. Muchos son adaptaciones a la formación de noneto; otros son transcripciones que respetan la estructura general de los arreglos originales pero que innovan en alguna sección del tema, modificando armonías, contracantos o texturas rítmicas. Otros, simplemente son arreglos propios.
La propuesta del noneto es encontrar la sonoridad de distintas orquestas como una manera de homenajear a aquellos músicos que construyeron a lo largo del tiempo el lenguaje del tango. Los Inmigrantes toman la posta hasta encontrar un sonido propio pero enraizado.
La figura no siempre recordada del arreglador ha jugado un rol imprescindible en la definición de este sonido, y la intención de Los Inmigrantes es rendir un homenaje a esos arregladores que con su conocimiento y su instinto musical han permitido que el tango sea lo que es hoy día: una de las músicas populares con mayor riqueza en el mundo.

Los Inmigrantes come back to Buenos Aires

With a performance at the renowned milonga La Ideal, the noneto Los Inmigrantes (born in La Plata city in the early 2005) plays again in Buenos Aires, after a research about the sound of the different orchestras in the history of tango.
La Yumba, La Tablada, La Cumparsita, Saludos, El Marne, Margarita Gauthier, Melancólico, Nostálgico, and El Recodo are some of the themes executed by the orchestra at its shows.
Along with the emblematic figure of violinist Osvaldo Rodríguez, the group is formed by musicians: Fernando Bugallo, violin; Pablo Muñoz, violin; Luis Santucci, viola; Víctor Goussinsky, cello; Luis Rizzi, bandoneon; Emanuel Trifilio, bandoneon; Omar Gómez, bass and double bass, and Alejandro Rodríguez, at the piano, arrangement and musical conduction.
The repertory comprises themes with arrangements from different times. Many of them have been adapted for the noneto; some others are transcriptions that respect the general structure of the original arrangements but innovate in a certain section, modifying harmonies, contracantos or rhythmical textures.
The proposal of the noneto is to find the sonority of different orchestras as a way to tribute to those musicians who constructed the language of tango in the course of time. Los Inmigrantes work hard to find a sound of their own, but well established.
Not always remembered as a figure, the arranger has played an essential role to define this sound, and the intention of Los Inmigrantes is to tribute to those arrangers who has used their talent and musical instinct to make tango what it is today: one of the popular rhythms with the largest richness in the world.
